In saying I made a new discovery / learnt a new lesson today.

The discovery/ lesson is that leaf people stay leaf people. You might be wondering what is I am ranting on about.

Well let me break it down for you.

Some people are the leaves of a tree. They are beautiful to beyond and we want to surround ourselves with them. But just like the leaves of a tree they sway with the wind. Their lives are dictated by the direction the wind blows. They carried ever which way it decides to take them. And when autumn and winter comes the leaves wither and die.

Now other people are like the branches of a tree. They are little sturdier that leaves and not easily carried away. But not all branches can support you. Some may look strong but when you get on them, they break and let you fall.

The final set of people are the roots of the tree. They are not seen by everyone but provide nourishment and support for the tree. Now are tree may not have but a few roots but those roots can help the tree grow stronger and healthy.

ONE THING YOU NEED TO REMEMBER IS THAT YOU CAN NEVER MAKE LEAF PEOPLE INTO ROOTS. NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU MAY WANT. THEY HAVE THEIR SEASONS AND WHEN AUTUMN AND WINTER COMES YOU NEVER TO LEFT MAY GO. WHEN A STRONG WIND BLOWS, YOU NEED TO LET THEM GO. DON'T TRY TO HOLD UNTO THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT.

Now the much serious much. I recently wrote an article for an on-line magazine about men's fashion and what I though men could wear this summer......... HOLD ON You know what I forgot to say something for those that don't know I am a freelance stylist art director........Sorry so have said that before I started writing this. For which I apologise.

Now where was I.... Oh yeah I was talking about the article I wrote ( which hopefully you can all read about on www.styleme-up.com).

So I wrote the article and been so proud of myself I show to my younger brother to read. He read it, check for grammatical error and such, you know the usually. But then he said something to me that I caught my attention. He said " I don't like the looks the you created here, I don't see myself wearing them." Now I am not saying that my younger is a fashionista, but what he said got me thinking.

What do most men thinking is fashionable for them to wear?

The reason why I thought this is because I had created 3 looks for the summer based on your wear tunic. One day, one evening/party look and one which I called the wild card look ( I stole the idea from BBC 1's To Buy Or Not To Buy). All which I feel were perfectly good looks inspired by Emmy Collins fashion label ( a truly great menswear designer).

So like I said it got me thinking but do men think is for fashionable. Is wearing a pair of denims and a tee shirt with some worn pair trainers? Or wearing a nice shirt with pair trouser and polished shoes? ( Both of which I personally myself mix and match from time to time. )

So if you are out there and have taken the time to read to my little rant. Please help me out by giving me your thoughts on this pressing issue.
